Today we got up at 5am and got ready so we could leave at Taj Mahal at 6 When we came out on the street, it was completely empty. It was a great surprise to us, because we had so far not seen a single empty street in India. We were fortunately fairly quickly an autorickshaw, how we probably film independent had to pay a little extra to be driven to the Taj Mahal, as he was the only autorickshaw nearby. But we were then driven to a place where we could see a sign with 0.4 km to the west gate. We walked down a path along with the other tourists who wanted to see the sunrise over the Taj Mahal. It was very cozy and beautiful to go there while it slowly became brighter, but it was also pretty cold. When we got to the entrance, there was a long queue in front of the ticket booth. We Hobbyjournal us nicely in line and waited, but we were a little uneasy, because it went very slowly. In front of us there were some that had started to pay for a guide, mainly so they could get ahead in the queue. Shortly after, we also asked if we wanted a guide, for there was great risk that we would not get to see the sunrise, we probably had come so early to see. However, I had noticed that they were not started selling tickets yet, and I could not imagine that they would start selling them so late that those who had come to watch the sunrise, could not reach to see it. I was more and more worried as time passed, and only fairly close to sunrise walked ticket sales started. Meanwhile we enjoyed, however, how the world quietly came to life how it was brighter and the birds began to sing. As the tickets were first sold it went quickly to get through, so soon after we had our ticket. Then we also just go and stand in line to actually enter the area. We were divided into men and women, as well as in Indian and foreign tourists. Again, I could not imagine that it could take so long, but here I was wrong. For all had to go through a security check that was more thorough than what you get at the airport. All checked the body and the bag where we had to say goodbye to the two packages biscuits, we intended to eat for breakfast. I got through relatively quickly and could probably actually film independent good time to see the sun rise the last stretch over the Taj Mahal. I will still wait for Kirstine and dared not really go any further, because I was afraid of not being able to come back. I had just been made quite clear that in India you never know. So I Hobbyjournal film independent me along with all the other foreign men and waited for foreign women came through. At the same time there was a lot of Indian women waiting for their Indian men, so all in all we all stood and waited while the sun went over the Taj Mahal. Kirstine was through film independent security in about an hour, and I was a little afraid that she would be a little grumpy because film independent I had since at least been able to go back and forth and see the gate outside film independent the Taj Mahal, but when she got through laughing she just, and I grinned back. We both had the funny feeling; well, this is India.
Now we would however like to enter and see the Taj Mahal, and we went through a gate. I must honestly admit that I was a little disappointed when I first came through. I did not direct it looked so great, but we would nevertheless have taken a lot of pictures. Taj Mahal was built as a mausoleum for stormogulens favorite wife Mumtaz. Everything is completely symmetrical in the area, and which is built two mosques, one on each side of the Taj Mahal, although only one facing towards Mecca, and therefore is usable. The garden in front of the Taj Mahal is made from an old sufisk text of the Garden of Eden. Mumtaz's tomb is located right in the middle of the Taj Mahal. I can not but admire the woman, because she must have been really important for the mogul to be buried in this way. The only asymmetrical in Taj Mahal is stormogulens own grave, located right next to Mumtaz's. This has happened as a result of the Great Mughal was overthrown by his own son, who then kept him imprisoned in Agra Fort until his death, where he was buried as an asymmetric addition to the otherwise completely symmetrical Taj Mahal.
When we got closer and closer to the Taj Mahal by walking film independent through film independent the Garden of Eden, I was, however, more and more impressed. Slowly it dawned on me how great Taj Mahal really is. We took a lot of pictures, but also tried to give ourselves time to actually enjoy building. However, it was difficult, as we sat on a bench to enjoy it, it did not take long before there was a guide and waved us away, so his tourists could have taken a lot of piled-up images on the bench. I was generally a little upset about how little people actually looked at the Taj Mahal, and how much they took pictures of it in all sorts of different and stupid ways. I was absolutely flabbergasted film independent when we got up close. The building's huge! And yet, as detailed in its decoration! And yet so beautiful in its simplicity! For it's huge! I tr
